Employment Assistance Services is a support measure that provides funding to organizations to assist unemployed individuals prepare for, obtain and maintain employment.
Services may include:
Employment Assistance Services are available to all unemployed persons who are entitled to work in Canada and are willing and able to actively participate in the labour market.

Businesses, organizations, municipalities, band/tribal councils, public health and educational institutions are eligible to receive funding as sponsors/coordinators through this program..
Funding is provided for eligible expenses to enable organizations to offer employment assistance services to unemployed persons legally entitled to work in Canada.
Sponsors/coordinators seeking funding under Employment Assistance Services should complete the form Employment Programs - Application for Funding Form and submit it to the nearest Advanced Education and Skills office.
