Q: What services have transferred to the Provincial Government?
A: The funding and the staff that support the delivery of Employment Assistance Services (EAS); Skills Development (SD); Labour Market Partnerships (LMP); Job Creation Partnerships (JCP); Self Employment Assistance (SEA); and Wage Subsidies (WS) have transferred to the Department of Advanced Education and Skills.

Q: Where can I access a Program Officer?

These staff are located in Advanced Education and Skills offices throughout the Province. Visit the Contact Us page for a list of the physical locations and postal addresses for Advanced Education and Skills offices.

Q: How do I contact the Department of Advanced Education and Skills for information on these programs?
A:

Q: How do I find out if I am eligible for a program or service?
A:
Visit the nearest Employment Assistance Service provider PDF (60 KB) or Advanced Education and Skills office or call 1-800-563-6600.

Q: I applied to Service Canada for assistance before November 2, 2009. Is my application still being considered?
A:
You should have received a letter from Service Canada indicating that your application was being transferred to the Province. If you did not receive this letter, please contact your local Advanced Education and Skills office or call 1-800-563-6600.
